As a mom who’s watched my two boys grow into incredible young adults, and after decades of sharing life with Michael, I’ve come to cherish how meals can be a heartfelt celebration of family and togetherness. I believe that a lovingly prepared meal can spark healing and create precious moments of connection—a tradition I’m so proud to carry on.

Plus, tending to an herb garden is a rewarding way to connect with nature and enjoy the satisfaction of harvesting your own food.

Another key to healthier cooking is choosing the right oils. While many processed foods are loaded with unhealthy fats, high-quality oils such as olive, avocado and coconut oil provide essential fatty acids that support heart health and brain function. Experimenting with different oils can bring out new depths of flavor while ensuring your body gets the nourishment it needs.
